Notice of Application
Notice is given that SWN Production Company, LLC has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a G70-D General Permit Modification for a natural gas production facility (BLATT) located in Wetzel County, WV.
From WV-2 in Proctor, WV take Proctor Creek Rd 6.2 miles to St. Joseph Baker Hill. Make a slight left onto St. Joseph Baker Hill and travel 2.2 miles. Take a sharp left to stay on St. Joseph Baker Hill. Travel 1.6 miles to the access road on the right (Villers Rd).
Latitude and longitude coordinates are: 39.71609, -80.70575
The applicant estimates the potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants will be:
Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) 25.43 tons/yr Carbon Monoxide (CO) 59.47 tons/yr Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) 6.98 tons/yr
Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) 0.07 tons/yr Particulate Matter (PM) 1.07 tons/yr Benzene 0.15 tons/yr Ethylbenzene 0.05 tons/yr Formaldehyde 2.23 tons/yr n-Hexane 0.11 tons/yr Toluene 0.15 tons/yr Xylenes 0.17 tons/yr Methane 21.16 tons/yr CO2 Equivalent 20,246 tons/yr
Operations are planned to begin on or about December 18, 2023. Written
comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.
