NOTICE OF APPLICATION
FOR A MERGER OF FINANCIAL HOLDING COMPANIES
PURSUANT TO SECTION 3(a)(5) OF
THE BANK HOLDING COMPANY ACT
Main Street Financial Services Corp., 2001 Main Street, Wheeling, West Virginia 26003, intends to apply to the Federal Reserve Board for permission to acquire in a merger a 100% of Wayne Savings Bancshares, Inc., with its principal place of business located at 151 North Market Street, Wooster, Ohio 44691, along with its subsidiary bank, Wayne Savings Community Bank with its main office located at 151 North Market Street, Wooster, Ohio 44691.
The Federal Reserve System considers a number of factors in deciding whether to approve the application, including the record of performance of the bank we own in helping to meet local credit needs.
