Doors open and Registration begins at 1:00p.m. with the convention beginning at 1:30 p.m. You are encouraged to PRE-REGISTER at http:/www.kanawhadems.org1/4024ConventionRegistration You must be a registered Democrat residing in Kanawha County to participate. Election of Convention Chair and Convention Secretary will be followed by the election of Delegates and Alternates to the June 14-15, 2024 State Convention. Convention participants will also elect one Kanawha County Delegate to each of the three State Committees: Credentials, Rules and Resolutions. NO OTHER BUSINESS WILL BE CONDUCTED AT THIS CONVENTION. Kanawha County is allotted 238 elected State Convention Delegates who should be apportioned as equally as possible between males and females and among the four Magisterial Districts. Delegates to the State Convention will join with Delegates from the other counties to elect Delegates to the National Convention, adopt the State Party Platform, and elect representatives to the Electoral College.
