ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS CHARLES POINTE CROSSING – HADEN BOULEVARD EXTENSION FOR GENESIS PARTNERS, LIMITED PARTNERSHIP HARRISON COUNTY, WV Sealed bids will be received by Genesis Partners, Limited Partnership, for Charles Pointe Crossing – Haden Boulevard Extension until 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Bridgeport Conference Center, 300 Conference Center Way, Bridgeport, WV 26330, at which time bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 03, 2024, at Bridgeport Conference Center, 300 Conference Center Way, Bridgeport, WV 26330. Construction time limit is 140 calendar days with liquidated damages of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) per day. Charles Pointe Crossing – Haden Boulevard Extension – This project will consist of approximately 1,400 LF of 12″ PVC C-900 and other associated water infrastructure; signage, landscaping, Street Lights and associated electrical conduits; 1,400 LF of paved roadway, striping, curb utter, sidewalk, and other associated roadway improvements; 400 LF of 48″ CMP and 1,600 LF of 48″ HDPE and smaller storm lines, inlets, and other associated storm infrastructure; construction of gas, underground electric, phone, and cable infrastructure; and erosion and sediment controls. A two-envelope system will be used. Each Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope. Envelope No. 1 must contain all documents as required on the Bid Opening Checklist. Envelope No. 2 must be a separate sealed envelope marked “Bid Proposal” and must contain the completed and signed “Bid Proposal Form”. Both envelopes must have the following information in the lower left-hand corner. Name and address of Bidder, Bidder’s WV Contractor’s License Number, “Charles Pointe Crossing – Haden Boulevard Extension, for Genesis Partners, Limited Partnership”, P.O. Box 1000, Bridgeport, WV 26330. The main envelope, “Envelope No. 1”, will be opened first and the required bid documents as listed on the Bid Opening Checklist, will be checked to ensure that all documents are in order and submitted. If the documents are found to be in order, then “Envelope No. 2” containing the “Bid Form” will be opened and publicly read aloud. If the required documents are not in order, the envelope containing the “Bid Form” will not be opened and the Bid will be considered non-responsive and returned to the Bidder. A bidder may not withdraw the Bid for a period of ninety (90) days after the date set for the opening of bids. Bids shall be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to Genesis Partners, Limited Partnership in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid. Bidders must comply with the Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Copeland Anti-Kickback Act, and the Contract Work Hours Safety Standards Act. Genesis Partners, Limited Partnership, reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Bids received after the scheduled closing time for the reception of bids will be returned unopened to the bidders.
