RFQ NITRO POLICE STATION COMMERCIAL ROOFING INSTALLATION The Nitro Police Station is soliciting quotations for the replacement of its commercial roof. The existing roof has reached the end of its service life and requires immediate replacement to ensure the protection of the building and its occupants from weather elements. Qualified contractors with expertise in commercial roofing are invited to submit their proposals. Scope of Work to include: Roof Assessment: Conduct a thorough assessment of the current roof structure to determine the scope of replacement required, including any necessary repairs to the underlying substrate. Material Selection: Provide recommendations for suitable roofing materials based on durability, weather resistance, and compatibility with the building’s design and function. Removal and Disposal: Remove and dispose of existing metal coping, rubber membrane, drains, and insulation from existing roof. Roof Installation: Execute the removal of the existing roof and installation of the new roofing system in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer specifications. Waterproofing and Insulation: Ensure proper waterproofing and insulation of the new roof to prevent leaks and maintain energy efficiency. Safety Measures: Implement appropriate safety measures to protect workers and minimize risks during the installation process. Cleanup and Disposal: Remove debris and waste materials generated during the roof replacement process and ensure proper disposal in accordance with environmental regulations. City of Nitro dumpster can be placed on site for all waste and material removal.
