MONITORING REQUIREMENTS NOT MET FOR

We are required to monitor your drinking water on a regular basis. Results of regular monitoring are an indicator of whether or not our drinking water meets health standards. Between 1/1/2024 and 1/31/2024, we exceeded the maximum allowable turbidity limit of 1 NTU and therefore cannot be sure of the quality of our drinking water during that time.
What should I do?

What happened? What is being done? (Describe corrective action)
Inadequate chemical dosage caused increased turbidity from the plant. Chemical adjustments were made to decrease turbidity levels and restore compliance with state regulations. Also, a data log was created documenting various river characteristics and appropriate chemical pump settings to assist in making future chemical adjustments.
