Notice of Request for Bids
The Wyoming County Board of Education is accepting RFQs from qualified educational services providers to provide professional development services during the summer of 2024.

Professional Development
Services Requested:
A two-day, in-person, administrator academy for 14 school principals, 3 assistant principals, central office directors, and coordinators. The two-day academy shall provide participants with a foundational understanding of developing a school-wide culture of high expectations for student learning, student achievement, and a focus on rigorous instruction. The Academy shall also provide a custom coaching and feedback tool that will allow principals and central office members to participate in classroom walkthroughs, receive instantaneous reporting results, and identify trends within the schools and system. Participants should also expect to receive support on how to effectively provide verbal and written feedback to employees. The professional development proposal should also provide support for building administrator capacity by empowering leaders to facilitate rapid, measurable growth within their schools.
A two-day, in-person, training for up to 60 educators in grades K-12 with an emphasis on the WV College and Career Readiness Standards for English Language Arts and Mathematics. The professional development shall empower teachers to take ownership of the content standards and understand the depth to which the standards are written. Teachers will leave the professional development feeling equipped to deliver rigorous, standards-based instruction that meets Marzano’s Taxonomy. The professional development should also assist educators in measuring student mastery of standards.
