The first reading of the following ordinances took place at a Regular Meeting of Weirton City Council on Monday, April 8, 2024. The second reading is scheduled to take place on Monday, May 13, 2024, at 7:00 p.m., in the Weirton City Council Chambers, 200 Municipal Plaza, Weirton, West Virginia 26062, during the Regular Meeting of Council.
Interested parties may appear and make public comment on the ordinances at the Regular City Council Meeting on Monday, May 13, 2024, at 7:00 p.m. Copies of the ordinances can be obtained by contacting the Weirton City Clerk’s Office at 304-797-8500 x1045.
Ordinance No. 2227 Modifying Ordinance #1313, as Amended, Establishing New Minimum and Maximum Salary Levels of Specific Non-Union Municipal Employees within Specific Departments of the City of Weirton General Fund.
Ordinance No. 2228 to Amend the Traffic Control Map (Amendment No. 867), Ordinance No. 214, to Extend the Yellow Line by 10 Feet on the North Side of Valley Way where it Intersects with Circle Drive.
