NOTICE TO BIDDERS

The Common Council for the City of Beckley is accepting bids from qualified firms for: asbestos inspection and abatement, demolition and disposal of 13 structures in Beckley. Bids that do not include all of the following structures will be rejected.

Complete specifications and bid information may be obtained from the City of Beckley at 232 Industrial Drive or by calling 304-256-1738, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Bids will be received until 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2024. They will be publicly opened and read aloud during a meeting of Common Council at 6:30 p.m. that same day. Bids must be submitted to the Recorder-Treasurer in sealed envelopes clearly marked to indicate contents. Bids may be hand delivered to 409 South Kanawha Street, or mailed P.O. Box 2514, Beckley, WV 25802-2514. Any bids that arrive after the specified date and time will not be considered.

The City of Beckley reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or any part of any bid without cause.
