Notice is hereby given that WV RECLAIM CO, LLC, 2122 LEATHERWOOD ROAD, BICKMORE, WV 25019 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 350.99 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 47 School Street, Suit 301, Philippi, WV 26416-1600, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number S200798 to operate a surface mine and highwall miner in the Middle and Lower Kittanning seam of coal.
The operation is discharging into Bullpen Fork of Right Fork of Leatherwood Creek of Leatherwood Creek of Elk River of Kanawha River and is located 3.0 miles east of bickmore, in Henry/Pleasant District of Clay County, Longitude 81° 4’ 17” and Latitude 38° 22’ 45” (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
