REQUEST FOR QUOTE The City of Nitro is seeking quotes from qualified paving contractors to install asphalt paving directly adjacent to the existing parking area on Bank Street between 20th and 21st Streets in Nitro, Kanawha County, WV. PROJECT GOAL: The City’s intent is to find the most cost-effective, turn-key installation of new paving to enlarge the existing parking area. The specifications and dimensions of the paving are available in a pre-bid packet, which will be distributed at a mandatory pre-bid meeting, which will be held on Wednesday, July 31 @ 9:00 AM. The mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held onsite at the Bank Street parking lot at the Veterans Flag Memorial, in the event of inclement weather, the mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held @ City Hall, 2009 20th St. The proposer shall demonstrate substantial experience in undertaking and completing the type of work required. The deadline for questions is Friday, August 2, 2024, at 4:00 PM.
