Please take notice that on the 16th day of August, 2024 at 1:00 o’clock p.m. a Disposition Hearing for Candace Green in Case No. 24-JA-16-K shall be held before the Honorable Edward J. Kornish, Judge of the Circuit Court of McDowell County, Welch, WV. Please be advised that as a result of this action there is a possibility that your parental rights may be terminated. The purpose of this bid is to establish a blanket-purchase agreement, or public works contracts for the listed service below. The Fayette County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any/or all bids presented.

TITLE: Valley PK-8 Prevention
Resource Officer

A. Current, state–certified police officer with at least one year of experience and employed by the Smithers, WV police department, or the Fayette County Sheriff’s Department or the West Virginia State Police.

B. Work with Principal formulating programs, activities, and school safety.

C. Serve as liaison between school and other law enforcement agencies in criminal matters.

D. The applicant must be a certified PRO.

The Fayette County Board of Education, 111 Fayette Avenue, Fayetteville, WV will accept sealed bids until 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 5, 2024. Bids will be opened at 1:00 pm on Monday, August 5, 2024.
