AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE Notice of Application Notice is given that Steel of West Virginia has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a Modification Permit for shot blasting operations located on 2nd Avenue & 17th Street in Huntington in Cabell County, West Virginia. The latitude and longitude coordinates are: 38.42551389, -82.42889444. The applicant estimates the potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants for the shot blasting operations will be decreased to the following amounts: 0.07 tons per year of particulate matter, 0.07 tons per year of particulate matter 10 microns or less in aerodynamic diameter, and 0.07 tons of particulate matter 2.5 microns or less in aerodynamic diameter. Startup of operations began in 2005. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.
