Notice is hereby given that MARSHALL COUNTY COAL RESOURCES, INC., 46226 NATIONAL ROAD, ST. CLAIRSVILLE, OH 43950 has submitted an application to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) 47 School Street, Suite 301, Philippi, WV, 26416-1600 for a significant permit revision to Article 3 permit number U102692 in order to the purpose of IBR 64 is to permit an additional 2.08 acres for the construction and operation of the 6 South 4 East-2 (6S4E-2), 6 South 4 East-1B (6S4E-1B), 6 North 3 East-2 (6N3E-2), 6 North 3 East-3 (6N3E-3), and 6 North 4 East-2 (6N4E-2) Degas Boreholes. This application requests 4 waivers: 1) to exceed the acreage limitation. 2) to operate within 100 ft of a stream 3) To operate within 100 ft of the right of way of a public road (C.R. 68-2, and C.R. 98). 4) To be with 300 ft of an occupied residence.
The revised permit will discharge into Fourmile Run of Harts Run of the Ohio River, and UNT of Grave Creek, of Grave Creek, of the Ohio River. (Receiving Stream) of Ohio River (Major Subbasin) and is located 2.5 (miles), south east (Direction) of Cameron (Nearest PO), in the Liberty District of Marshall County, Longitude 39 degrees 47’57.46″ and Latitude 80 degrees 32’43.42″ (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
