ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Separate SEALED BIDS for:
New Martinsville Public Library, Restroom and Building Entrance ADA Renovations
will be received by the New Martinsville Public Library, 160 Washington Street, New Martinsville, WV 26155, at the above address until:
10:00 AM, Local Time
Wednesday,
October 30, 2024
And at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The Work includes renovation of New Martinsville Public Library’s existing men’s and women’s public restrooms to be ADA compliant, installation of ADA compliant automatic door openers at main entrance to building and installation of new ADA compliant drinking fountain with bottle filler.
The BID DOCUMENTS are on file at the above address. Bid Documents will be available online at www.svaeng.net, or may be obtained for a cost of $50 from Swiss Valley Associates, Inc, 42631 State Route 7, P.O. Box 39; Hannibal, OH 43931, (740) 483-2351.
Each Bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in an amount of 100% of the Bid amount or by certified check or cashier’s check in the amount of not less than 5% of the Bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance and payment bond for 100% of the contract price.
The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and all bids. If bids are 10% over the estimated project cost, the Owner will have the option to be rebid the project.
A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the New Martinsville Public Library on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 at 10:00 AM.
