CORRECTIVE ACTION PLAN FOR PETROLEUM IMPACTED SITE

In response to a release of petroleum products from regulated tanks, the property owner/operator under the direction of the Tanks Corrective Action Unit of the Department of Environmental Protection developed a draft corrective action plan (CAP) for the following site:

In August and September 2011, two 4,000-gallon unleaded gasoline USTs, one 3,000-gallon unleaded gasoline UST and one 3,000-gallon diesel UST were excavated and removed from the site. A Confirmed Release Notice to Comply was issued by the WVDEP on October 5, 2011 subsequent to the discovery of soil and groundwater contamination beneath the UST system during closure. The CAP briefly describes the extent of the release and details the proposed cleanup method at the site. Copies of the CAP are available for public review at the following location:

Interested parties may submit written comments during the 30-day period beginning Wednesday, October 16, 2024 through Friday, November 15,2024.
