NOTICE OF HEARING
On May 15, 2024,
Appalachian Power
Company and Wheeling
Power Company filed a
Petition for Review and
Approval of Proposed Reliability Index Targets
(RITs) for the Period 2025 through 2029. The
Companies proposed to
relax some of the current
RlTs and keep other RlTs the same and change the way it calculates RlTs by treating each target
individually instead of
connected to the other
targets.
The Commission will
conduct an evidentiary
hearing at 1:30 p.m. on November 7, 2024, in the Howard M. Cunningham
Hearing Room, Public
Service Commission, 201 Brooks Street, Charleston, WV .
Interested persons should
monitor the Commission’s web docket and website
because the evidentiary
hearing may be cancelled for good cause.
Anyone desiring to
intervene should file a
written petition to
intervene. Failure to
intervene timely can
affect your right to
participate in the
proceeding.
Requests to intervene
must comply with the
Commission’s rules on
intervention. Anyone
desiring to file public

regarding the proposed
reliability index targets
