The collection system extension consists of approximately 4,600 linear feet of 10 inch diameter gravity sewer line, 27,350 linear feet of eight (8) inch diameter gravity sewer line, 11,000 linear feet of six (6) inch diameter sewer line, 241 manholes, 27,500 linear feet of eight (8) inch diameter force main, one (1) new lift station with odor control, 8,260 linear feet of four (4) inch diameter service laterals, upgrade to the existing Winifred pump station, telemetry system upgrades, and all requisite appurtenances. Also, to acquire, construct, install, operate, and maintain upgrades and improvements to the existing wastewater treatment plant including; headworks upgrades consisting of a new grit channel and new screen and upgrades to the existing ultraviolet disinfection system. The facility upgrades and modifications shall be constructed in accordance with the project plans entitled “Lens Creek Sewer Extension Project – Phase I”, prepared by S&S Engineers and approved on April 9, 2024; WVDEP SRF #C-544643, IJDC #2016S-1625.
