MASON COUNTY COURTHOUSE FACADE RESTORATION PROJECT ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids will be received by the Mason County Commission at the Mason County Courthouse, 200 Sixth Street, Point Pleasant, West Virginia 25550, for the MASON COUNTY COURTHOUSE FACADE RESTORATION PROJECT, until 1:00 P.M., L.P.T., December 19, 2024, at which time the bids received will be opened publicly and read aloud. The total base bid price for the contract shall include the costs for furnishing labor and materials and performing all work set forth in the Advertisement for Bids, Information for Bidders, Form of Proposal, General Conditions, Supplemental General Conditions, and Plans and Detail Specifications prepared by Chapman Technical Group. The work to be bid upon is described as follows, but not limited to: Historic restoration and repairs to the Mason County Courthouse including repair, replacement, and repointing of the stone veneer, steps, and parapet caps, repair and repointing of brick walls, and repair of structural lintels along with other incidental construction in accordance with the drawings and specifications prepared by Chapman Technical Group. Construction time limit is 180 calendar days to Substantial Completion. PDF sets are available, but Bidders are required to obtain at least one hard copy set of the Drawings and Project Manual from Chapman Technical Group to submit a Bid on the project. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, made payable to the Owner, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Base Bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. All prospective Bidders must attend a Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference to be held at the Project Site at the Mason County Courthouse, 200 Sixth Street, Point Pleasant, WV 25550 on December 5, 2024, at 11:00 A.M., L.P.T., for the purpose of discussing the project and touring the project site.
