PUBLIC NOTICE The Kanawha County Commission will hold a public hearing, December 12, 2024 at 5:30 PM or soon thereafter, in Courtroom #4 (Ceremonial Courtroom), second floor, at the Kanawha County Courthouse, to hear public comment on the proposed boundary adjustments of the Kanawha Public Service District. The Kanawha Public Service District is requesting to enlarge its current boundaries to include areas that are currently serviced by the Pratt Sanitary Board. With the cooperation of the Town of Pratt, Kanawha Public Service District has agreed to acquire the sanitary sewer system owned by the Town in efforts to provide for the future operations, maintenance, and upkeep of the system to protect the public health and interest of affected residents.
