Request for Proposal (RFP) for Demolition Work 1. Introduction The Mason County Commission is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for demolition work on the properties listed below. The selected contractor will be responsible for the complete demolition and removal of all structures, debris, and materials from the site. 2. Project Description The properties to be demolished are as follows: Property 1: 490 Mason Street Clifton, WV 25260 Property 2: 9332 Ashton Upland Road Ashton, WV 25503 3. Scope of Work The scope of work includes, but is not limited to: Obtaining all necessary permits and approvals. Demolition of identified structures. Removal and proper disposal of all debris and materials. Removal and abatement of all asbestos material, if applicable. Reclamation to consist of straw and grass seed. 4. Proposal Requirements Proposals should include the following information: Company profile and experience with similar projects. Detailed project plan and timeline. Itemized cost estimate. Proof of liability insurance and business license. 5. Submission Guidelines Proposals must be submitted by January 28th to the Mason County Commission office at 200 Sixth Street, Point Pleasant, WV 25550 by 4:30pm. Late submissions will not be considered. Bid opening will be held on January 29th at 10am at the Mason County Commission Office. The bid award will be held during the January 30th County Commission meeting at 4pm. 6. Evaluation Criteria Proposals will be evaluated based on the following criteria: Experience and qualifications. Project plan and timeline. Cost estimate. Proof of liability insurance and business license References. 7. Pre-Bid Meeting A pre-bid meeting to discuss project details will be held on January 16th at 1pm in the County Commission office with site inspections of both properties to follow. 8.
