THE SANITARY BOARD OF THE CITY OF CHARLESTON, WEST VIRGINIA, KANAWHA COUNTY, WEST VIRGINIA CLAIRE STREET SEWER REROUTES CONTRACT 24-3 ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS Sealed Bids for the Claire Street Sewer Reroutes will be received by The Sanitary Board of the City of Charleston, West Virginia (CSB) at their offices located at 208 26th Street W, Charleston, WV 25387, or via electronic mail until 9:30 a.m., local time, Tuesday, March 25, 2024. Bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud. Any Bids received after the above time and date will be returned unopened to the Bidder. No conditional Bids will be accepted. Bids when submitted as physical copies must be enclosed in sealed envelope, and the envelope must have written plainly on it the name and address of the Bidder and the Contract to which it refers. The envelope shall be securely sealed and addressed to the CSB as follows: The Sanitary Board of the City of Charleston 208 26th Street, West Charleston, WV 25387-1818 Attn: Jacob Daley, PE Bidders may submit their Bids by registered mail provided the above requirements are properly met and the Bids are received by the CSB before the time set for the opening of Bids. Each Bid submitted must include the Bid Form, Contractor Experience Record, Noncollusion Affidavit, and Drug Free Workplace Conformance Affidavit, as well as all other necessary documents. Bids submitted via electronic mail (e-mail) must be time stamped (sent) and received by the CSB prior to the scheduled opening of Bids. The CSB shall monitor electronic communications up to the set Bid opening time; Bids received after this time shall be considered unresponsive, and the Bidder will be notified as such via electronic mail. This Project consists of Work associated with this contract generally includes the replacement of approximately 910 linear feet of 6″, 12″, and 18″ gravity sewer and 6″ house service pipe; 6 manholes; 8 lampholes/cleanouts; replacement/reconnection of 8 customer services; and the replumbing of 1 customer service line.
