Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held on March 18, 2025, at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Room at Charles Town City Hall, 101 E. Washington Street, Charles Town, WV by the City of Charles Town Board of Zoning Appeals on the following matter:
BA-2025-01 Mark Roper is seeking a variance for reduced side yard setbacks requirements of the Old Town Residential Zoning District. The property is located at 412 S. Lawrence St, approximately 142 feet south of the intersection of S. Lawrence and W. Academy St., and is also identified as Tax District 3/Map 3/Parcel 28. The requested variances are from:
1. Side yard Setbacks: A decrease from 10 ft to 7.5 ft.
Applicant desires to build a single family detached home, necessitating the variance request.
