PUBLIC NOTICE Power Transmission Line and Right of Way Access Road Upgrades Will Result in Delays on Armstrong Creek Road near Kimberly, WV Brookfield Renewable U.S., owner and operator of the Hawks Nest Hydro, LLC, is providing public notification to warn drivers in the region to expect possible delays on Armstrong Creek Road in the coming weeks as the power transmission line and right of way receive upgrades. Armstrong Creek Road The upgrade project is scheduled to begin on March 3, 2025, and is expected to continue through July 2025. You may experience periodic road delays and closures while heavy equipment and materials are transported to the project area. Every effort will be taken for minimal impact to morning commutes, bus routes, etc. The project is necessary to upgrade the power transmission line and right of way access roads. This will increase reliability and maintain proper safety clearance of the transmission line.
