“From Monday, January 13, 2025 to Friday, January 31, 2025, the Northern Panhandle Workforce Development Board, Inc. (NPWDB, Inc.) solicited Request For Proposals (RFPs) for 1) The management and delivery of On-The-Job Training (OJT); and, 2) The delivery of Participant Career Services in the Northern Panhandle region. Both programs and services are one hundred percent (100%) funded by the Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA) provided by the US Department of Labor. No RFPs were received in response to these solicitation processes. Subsequently, the NPWDB, Inc. is requesting a waiver determination from the State WORKFORCE WV to name the NPWDB, Inc. the Provider of OJT Program & Services and Participant Career Services in the Northern Panhandle Region from July 1, 2025 – June 30, 2028. If there are any objections to this request, please notify the NPWDB, Inc., via email, at [email protected] or contact us at 304-231-1170 between the hours of 8:00 am to 4:00 pm from Monday – Friday. Objections must be received by the NPWDB, Inc. by no later than Monday, April 7, 2025. Programs & Services are equal opportunity programs.
