REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ) MANAGED IT SERVICES FOR THE CITY OF NITRO The City of Nitro is soliciting statements of qualification from qualified firms or service providers to deliver comprehensive Managed IT Services for all municipal operations. This RFQ seeks a vendor capable of providing full-spectrum IT support, network administration, cybersecurity, and data management, as well as oversight and maintenance of integrated security systems, including surveillance cameras and keyless entry access controls for all city-owned buildings. Scope of Services The selected firm will be expected to provide the following services, including but not limited to: IT Infrastructure Management Full support and maintenance of the City’s IT systems Network monitoring, performance tuning, and updates Workstation and server maintenance Backup and disaster recovery solutions Cloud services and data storage management Cybersecurity Network and endpoint security Threat detection and response Firewall and anti-virus/anti-malware management Regular system audits and security assessments User Support Helpdesk services (remote and on-site as needed) User account administration and onboarding/offboarding Troubleshooting hardware and software issues Routine software updates and license management Security System Oversight Installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of surveillance camera systems at all city-owned buildings Integration of camera feeds with centralized monitoring software (if applicable) Technical support and storage solutions for security footage Access Control Systems Installation, management, and support of keyless entry systems across all city facilities Management of user credentials and access permissions Integration with other municipal systems, where appropriate Proposal Requirements Interested firms should submit a qualifications package that includes: Company overview and relevant experience in municipal IT management Description of services offered, particularly in security and access control systems Profiles of key team members who would be assigned to the account Description of response times and support availability List of current municipal or government clients (if applicable) References from similar projects Proof of licensing, insurance, and any relevant certifications Submission Deadline Responses are due by Monday, May 5, at 4:00 pm and must be submitted to: Rich Hively City Recorder City of Nitro USPS: PO Box 308 Hand Deliver: 2009 20th St Nitro, WV 25143 Email: [email protected] 304-755-0707 Electronic submissions are accepted and encouraged.
