The City of Fairmont’s Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public meeting at 7 pm, June 5, 2025, in the Public Safety Building (500 Quincy Street) at which time interested persons may appear and be heard regarding the following:
BZA 25-02 – Julie Sole, director of the Disability Action Center, is requesting a Conditional Use Permit at Leonard Avenue to build a new indoor wellness facility, categorized as a Civic Use. The property within Fairmont city limits is zoned General Residential and also known as Tax District 5, Map 9, Parcels 89 & 89.1. The full project also includes a parcel outside city limits known as Tax District 22, Map 9, Parcel 160.
BZA 25-03 – Jennifer Molina, on behalf of Molina Realty, LLC, is requesting a Conditional Use Permit at 312 10th Street for the use of Medical Clinic. The property is zoned Neighborhood Mixed Use and can also be identified as Tax District 3, Map 6, Parcels 45, 46, & 47.
BZA 25-04 – Julie Sole, director of the Disability Action Center, is requesting a Variance from Article 3.3.2 Development Standards to reduce the rear yard requirements at Leonard Avenue, from 25 feet to 13 feet for a new indoor wellness facility. The property within city limits is zoned General Residential and also known as Tax District 5, Map 9, Parcels 89 & 89.1. The full project also includes a parcel outside city limits known as Tax District 22, Map 9, Parcel 160.
BZA 25-05 – Julie Sole, director of the Disability Action Center, is requesting a Variance from Articles 5.5.8.A and 5.5.8.C Landscaping Requirements at Leonard Avenue to build a new indoor wellness facility with the required rear yard landscaping located in the unopened public alley rather than the private property. The property within city limits is zoned General Residential and also known as Tax District 5, Map 9, Parcels 89 & 89.1. The full project also includes a parcel outside city limits known as Tax District 22, Map 9, Parcel 160.
