NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO CHANGE RATES

ICE’S RUN ROUTE 250 PUBLIC SERVICE DISTRICT
On January 8, 2025, Ice’s Run Route 250 Public Service District filed with the Public Service Commission of West Virginia an Application to increase its water rates and charges and requested emergency interim rate relief during the pendency of the case because the District is experiencing financial distress.
The Staff of the Public Service Commission have performed a review and recommended final increased rates and charges that will produce approximately $41,848 annually in additional revenue over previously approved interim rates, an overall increase of 15.68%. The current and recommended final rates are as follows:

Anyone desiring to review the Staff recommendation report may do so on the Commission website (www.psc.state.wv.us). Anyone desiring to protest the proposed changed rates and charges must do so, in writing, within ten (10) days of the date of publication of this notice. All protests may be filed on line through the Commission website using the “Submit a Comment” link or may be mailed to the Executive Secretary, Public Service Commission of West Virginia, P.0. Box 812, 201 Brooks Street, Charleston, West Virginia 25323, or hand-delivered to the Public Service Commission. To help the Commission determine the justification for additional review and investigation, protests must be specific as to reasons that the proposed changed rates and charges should be modified.
The Commission may adopt rates and charges which are the same as, greater than or less than the Staff-recommended rates and charges.
