NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC ACCEPTING BIDS The Webster County Board of Education is currently accepting bids for a contract driver to provide transportation for students in Bendertown, CowgerHill, and Hodam Mt. areas of Hacker Valley for a one-year period, beginning with the 2025-2026 school year, with the option to renew it for two additional years. The successful bidder must agree to provide transportation for all students on the route or routes provided by the county transportation director. It is the contractor’s responsibility to provide vehicles suitable for safe transfer for all Webster County students to and from school. The contractor must submit proof of insurance against negligence in an amount specified by the BOE and must submit proof of a valid WV Business License. The contractor must meet all the state requirements for a bus operator and shall further abide by Policy 4336 WV School Bus Transportation Regulation, Procedures, and Specifications for the Design and Equipment of School Buses.
