NOTICE
An Environmental Review Assessment has been completed for the Modernization of the Public Housing Properties for the Benwood-McMechen Housing Authority. The review has determined that the modernization projects will have no significant impact on the human environment. The Environmental Review Record, and the Combined Notice of Finding of No Significant Impact and Intent to Request Release of Funds are on file and may be reviewed at the Administrative Office of the Benwood-McMechen Housing authority located at 2200 Marshall Street, Benwood, WV between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. weekdays.
A summary of the Modernization Five Year Plan for the Benwood- McMechen Housing Authority is as follows: replace windows, replace siding including gutters, downspouts, soffit and facia. Repair chimneys, replace hot water systems, exterior doors, doors at the main entrance of the Marwood mid-rise. Expand camera system, replace handrails in various locations and roofs.
