FY 2025 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN
Notice is hereby given that the City of Beckley, Raleigh County, WV will conduct a public hearing on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at 5:00 p.m., prevailing time, in the:
Council Chambers at City Hall

The purpose of the public hearing is to present the City of Beckley’s FY 2025 Annual Action Plan for the use of the FY 2025 allocation of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds. The City intends to submit its FY 2025 Annual Action Plan in the amount of $289,846 for Community Development Block Grant funds based on the HUD allocation and the FY 2025 Annual Action Plan will be submitted to HUD on or before August 15, 2025.
In order to obtain the views of residents, public agencies, and other interested parties, the City of Beckley will place the FY 2025 Annual Action Plan, on display from July 3, 2025, through August 4, 2025, at the following locations during normal operational hours:

The CDBG budget for FY 2025 may be accessed at the City of Beckley’s website: http://www.beckley.org.
The FY 2025 Annual Action Plan will be available for examination during normal business hours of operation for a period of thirty (30) days until August 4, 2025. The FY 2025 Annual Action Plan will be submitted to the Beckley City Council for approval at its regular City Council Meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 5, 2025.
The proposed FY 2025 Annual Action Plan was prepared after conducting a public hearing on housing and community development needs and meetings with the City’s staff and officials.
All interested persons, groups, and organizations are encouraged to attend this public hearing and will be afforded the opportunity to present oral or written testimony concerning the proposed plans and uses of Federal funds under the FY 2025 Annual Action Plan.
