NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing has been scheduled for Monday August 11, 2025 at 7:00 p.m. in the Charles Town City Hall, Council Chambers, 101 E. Washington Street, Charles Town, WV by the City of Charles Town Historic Landmarks Commission on the following matter:
COA2025-13: Request by Kasey Crafts for a Certificate of Appropriateness for a projecting sign at 231 W. Washington, which is located approximately 48 feet east of the intersection of W. Washington and S. Lawrence Street. The property is also identified as Tax Dist. 3, Map 2B, Parcel 13. The property is zoned Old-Town Mixed Use Commercial.
COA2025-14: Request by David Leonard for a Certificate of Appropriateness for a building addition at 214 W. Congress St., which is located approximately 105 feet east of the intersection of S. Lawrence and W. Congress St. The property is also identified as Tax Dist. 3, Map 2, Parcel 35. The property is zoned Old-Town Mixed Use Commercial.
COA2025-16: Request by Forrest Pritchard for a Certificate of Appropriateness for wall mounted signs, an awning, a pavilion, a shed, fencing, and minor architectural changes at 212 N. George St., which is located approximately 115 feet south of the intersection of W. North and N. George St. The property is also identified as Tax Dist. 3, Map 2A, Parcel 19. The property is zoned Old-Town Mixed Use Commercial.
