AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE
Notice of Application
Notice is given that CertainTeed Gypsum WV, Inc. has
applied to the West Virginia Department of
Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a
G60 General Permit Registration for an emergency
generator located on 9622 Energy Road in Proctor, in
Marshall County, West Virginia. The latitude and
longitude coordinates are: 39.815479 and -80.811264.
The applicant estimates the potential to discharge the
following Regulated Air Pollutants will be (ton per year):
Particulate Matter-10 0.01 tpy
Particulate Matter-2.5 0.01 tpy
Sulfur Dioxide 0.16 tpy
Nitrogen Oxides 0.42 tpy
Carbon Monoxide 0.08 tpy
Volatile Organic Compounds 0.01 tpy
Total Hazardous Air Pollutants 0.003 tpy
Startup of operation is planned to begin on or about the
31st day of December, 2025. Written comments will be
received by the West Virginia Department of
Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601
57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at
least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of
this notice.
