NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF MINOR CHILD

ZACHARY MARTIN:
Please take notice that on the 10th day of October, 2025 at 9:30 a.m., in Philippi, Barbour County, West Virginia, before the Honorable Thomas B. Hoxie, whose courtroom is located in the Barbour County Courthouse, 26 North Main Street, Philippi, WV 26416, a hearing will be held on the Petition for Adoption to adopt a minor child born on March 14, 2022 in Morgantown, WV , at which time the prospective adoptive parents shall further request an Order be entered by said Court granting their prayer for the adoption of said minor child. Any person having an objection to the adoption must appear at said hearing on the aforesaid date and make such objections known.
This legal advertisement is also intended to provide notice to Zachary Martin, whose is last believed to be residing in Marion County, West Virginia, that his parental rights, if any, may be terminated in these proceedings and that such person may appear and defend such rights within the required time. If you fail to respond within the required time, you may not appear in or receive further notice of the adoption proceedings.
This Order shall be published as a Class II legal advertisement in The Times West Virginian, a newspaper in the publication area of Marion County, West Virginia and the Barbour Democrat, a newspaper in the publication area of Barbour County, West Virginia.
A copy of said Petition can be obtained from the undersigned Clerk at his office.
