SEALED BIDS GLENVILLE STATE UNIVERSITY GSU26-001 HEALTH & WELLNESS COMPLEX PHASE 2 Sealed bids for the proposed Glenville State University Health and Wellness Complex Phase 2, will be received by Glenville State University, attention Clay Chesser, 200 High Street, Glenville, WV 26351 until 11:00pm, on October 9, 2025, for furnishing labor and materials and performing all Work set forth in the Contract Documents prepared by Omni Associates – Architects. Bid packets will be available from Omni Associates-Architects starting September 17, 2025. The project will be bid under a Single Prime Contract. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: Phase 2 shell and interior fit-out work for a new Health and Wellness facility. Scope shall include construction of an approximately 25,000 square foot two-story structure with immediate site and utility work. Facility includes classrooms and labs as well as ancillary offices and support areas. Services are expected to commence immediately. Each Bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope which must contain: (a) the Bid Bond, (b) Form of Proposal containing the completed and signed Bid, (c) all other necessary documents as required in the specifications. If the documents required to be contained in envelope are not in order, the Bid will be considered non-responsive and will be returned to the Bidder. A Bidder may not withdraw his Bid for a period of thirty (30) days after the date set for the opening of Bids. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond payable to Glenville State University in the amount equal to five percent (5%) of the base Bid. Any Contractor submitting a Bid on this project hereby certifies, indicates, and acknowledges that he/she has a license and meets all the qualifications required by the statutes of the state and will comply with the WV Act on Wages for Public Improvements. Mandatory Pre-bid Conference: A Mandatory Pre-bid Conference will be held at Land Resources Library/Conference Room 1 at The Waco Center, 921 Mineral Road, Glenville WV 26351 at 11:00am on September 25, 2025. It is required that any Prime Bidder, or his representative, planning to submit a Bid on this Project be in attendance at this meeting. Prior to this conference, each Bidder, Prime or Sub, shall have reviewed the Contract Documents to be familiar with the intent of these documents. During this conference, the Contract Documents shall be reviewed and any questions concerning the project shall be entertained. Discrepancies, conflicts and/or unclear items shall be brought to the attention of the Architect at this time for clarification. The Owner, by this meeting, reserves the right to refuse any request for an "Extra" from any Contractor for items unclear or omitted from the Contract Documents, unknown job conditions excepted.
