Notice is hereby given by First Community Bank,
29 College Drive, Bluefield, Virginia 24605 , that it
intends to apply to the Federal Reserve Board for
permission to merge with and establish branches at
the locations of Union Bank, Inc., 103 Dodd
Street, Middlebourne, West Virginia 26149 . First
Community Bank will be the surviving bank in
the merger. The Federal Reserve considers a
number of factors in deciding whether to
approve the application, including the record of
performance of the applicant banks in helping to meet local credit needs. You are invited to submit comments in writing on this application to the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond, P.O. Box 27622, Richmond, VA 23261. Comments can also be sent electronically
to [email protected] . The comment period will not end before October 31, 2025, and may be somewhat longer. The Board’s procedures for
