Va. Code 54-1-1, et seq., and 54-2-1, et seq., and all applicable West Virginia statutes, a hearing to determine just compensation will be held on December 3, 2025, at 10:00 a.m., in this action in the Circuit Court of Jackson County, West Virginia, before Judge Lora Dyer in relation to a Petition for Condemnation/Right of Entry, which was filed and granted in the Circuit Court of Jackson County, West Virginia, and is known as Civil Action No. CC-18-2025-C-39, and styled AEP West Virginia Transmission Company, Inc. vs. David Carney, et al. Said just compensation hearing will address real property for the construction of electrical transmission, distribution, and communication lines and appurtenant equipment and fixtures, and condemnation and right of entry on behalf of AEP West Virginia Transmission Company, Inc. situate, lying, and being in Ripley District, Jackson County, West Virginia, identified as Tax Map 54, Parcel 3, and recorded in the office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Jackson County, West Virginia, in Deed Book 218, at page 420, and being more specifically bounded and described as follows: 10.2 AC 1/126 UND INT DUDEON SECOND TRACT: Beginning at a stone, corner to D. I. JOHNSON; thence S. 10-1/4 E. 15 poles to a small Red Oak sapling; thence S. 16-1/4 E. 8 poles and 10 feet to a small Hickory; thence S. 26 E. 5 poles and 10 links to the edge of the right of way of Interstate 77; thence along the edge of the right of way of Interstate 77 S. 0 52 W. 246.05 feet to a stake; thence S. 83 39 W. 104.67 feet to a stake; thence S. 11 33 W. 32.57 feet to a stake; thence S. 71 09 E. 110.49 feet to a stake; thence S. 0 52 W. 494.64 feet to a stake; thence S. 23 02 E. 220.09 feet to a stake; thence leaving Interstate 77 N. 56 W. 640 feet to a stake, corner to J. H. JOHNSON and E. REDMAN; thence N. 9-3/4 E. 7 1/2 poles to a White Oak at the foot of a bluff; thence N. 12 E. 12-1/2 poles to a sassafras; thence N. 25-3/4 E. 32 poles and 10 links to a stake on the point above an orchard; thence N. 5 3/4 E. 5 poles and 5 feet to a stone; thence N. 70-1/2 E. 9 poles and 5 feet to the place of beginning, containing 10.20 acres, more or less. The aforementioned respondents are hereby notified a copy of said Petition for Condemnation/Right of Entry may be obtained from the Jackson County Circuit Clerk's office at 100 Court Street, Ripley, West Virginia, 25271, for the purposes of appearing and defending.
