The Housing Authority of Benwood-McMechen will receive separate sealed bids on a Lump Sum basis for one bid package: Bathroom Renovations at Various Properties until 10:30
a.m., on November 20, 2025, at the Housing Authority Offices, 2200 Marshall Street, Benwood, WV 26031, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
A Prebid Conference will be held at 10:30 a.m. on November 6, 2025, at the Housing Authority Administrative Offices at 2200 Marshall Street, Benwood, West Virginia. The scope and details of the proposed project work will be discussed. Attendance is recommended.

The work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, 12 U.S.C. 1701u (Section 3). The purpose of Section 3 is to ensure that employment and other economic opportunities generated by HUD assistance or HUD-assisted projects covered by Section 3, shall, to the greatest extent feasible, be directed to low- and very low-income persons, particularly persons who are recipients of HUD assistance for housing.
Attention is called to the provisions for equal employment opportunity, and payment of not less than the prevailing salaries and wages, as set forth in the Contract Documents, that must be adhered to on this project.
