NOTICE OF FILING
On August 10, 2015, AVW of West Virginia, Inc., dba Apple Valley Waste (AVW) applied to amend its existing certificate of public convenience and necessity (Certificate) to operate as a motor carrier in the transportation of solid waste. Specifically, AVW seeks to add language allowing for the intrastate transportation of solid waste from residential customers within the City of Ranson pursuant to a franchise agreement with the municipality. The proposed Certificate amendment is available online.
Anyone desiring to protest or intervene should file a written protest or request to intervene within ten days following the date of publication unless otherwise modified by Commission Order. Requests to intervene must comply with the Commission rules on intervention set forth in the Commission Rules of Practice and Procedure.
