NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONVEYANCE OF UNITED METHODIST CHURCH PROPERTY (BALD KNOB UNITED METHODIST CHURCH) Notice is hereby given that Board of Trustees of the West Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church will, on or after December 17, 2025 QUITCLAIM, GRANT and CONVEY to Diversified Property Management, LLC, all of their right, title and interest in and to the following described lot or parcel of land, situate in Crook District, Boone County, West Virginia, and bounded and described as follows, to-wit: BEGINNING at a stake on the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad right-of-way in line with the North lot line of the M. E. Church and directly behind the Northeast corner of said Church lot and running N. 80 33 W. 31 feet to the Northeast corner of Church lot; thence with the line of Church lot S. 9 27 W. 108.00 feet to a stake; thence S. 80 33 E. 18.30 feet, more or less, to a stake on the Chesapeake & Ohio right-of-way; thence with the said railroad right-of-way N. 13 29 E. 108.30 feet, more or less, to the beginning. And being the same property conveyed to The Trustees of Bald Knob Methodist Church, from V. G. Bond and Fairlena Bond, his wife by Deed dated May 12, 1951 and recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Boone County, West Virginia in Deed Book 69, at page 495, reference to which is hereby made. Said Bald Knob United Methodist Church was closed effective November 21, 2024 by resolution of a majority of the District Superintendents of the West Virginia Annual Conference of The United Methodist Church.
