This is to solicit sealed bids for the replacement of the roof on the City Hall, 202 South Monroe Street, Alderson, WV. The roof is to be replaced with a Dura-Last roof or the equivalent and the bid is to include the replacement of any damaged wood or support structures found. New guttering and downspouts are to be installed to the ground. No changes to the outside appearance of the building are permitted as it is contributing element in the National Register Historic District. Detailed specifications of the work may be obtained by emailing a request to [email protected]. There will be a mandatory pre-bid meeting on-site on Thursday, December 3, at 2:00 PM. The successful bidder must provide proof of liability insurance in the amount of a minimum of $500,000 with the town named as additional insured and a bid bond equal to the amount of the bid. Bids must be received at the Town of Alderson, PO Box 179, 202 South Monroe Street, Alderson, WV 24910 no later than 3:00 PM on December 10, 2015.
