DOB: 1/29/2011 Adult Respondents: Curtis Doss Daniel Shamblin Unknown Father ORDER OF PUBLICATION The object of this proceeding is to determine whether the above-listed children are abused or neglected. It appears that the respondent fathers, Curtis Doss, Daniel Shamblin, and the unknown father’s whereabouts are unknown in Boone County. Notice is hereby given that an adjudication hearing in the above-styled matter will take place in the Circuit Court of Boone County on the 13rd day of April 2026, at 10:30 AM, before Judge Stacy Nowicki-Eldridge at the Boone County Courthouse, located at 200 State Street in Madison, West Virginia. These proceedings are closed to the general public. Curtis Doss, Daniel Shamblin and the unknown father of J.S. (DOB 10/26/2008), and J.D. (DOB 1/29/2011), has the right to legal counsel at every stage of these proceedings and if he cannot afford legal representation, counsel will be appointed by the Court on the filing of the proper affidavit. The mother of the minor child is Vanessa Doss. The above-styled proceedings may, upon final disposition, result in the permanent termination of the parental rights of Curtis Doss, Daniel Shamblin, and the unknown father of J.S. (DOB 10/26/2008) and J.D. (DOB 1/29/2011), with respect to the said child.
