AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE
Notice of Application
Notice is given that Expand Operating, LLC has applied
to the West Virginia Department of Environmental
Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a G70-E General
Permit Modification for a natural gas production facility
(RIDGETOP LAND VENTURES) located in Wetzel
County, WV.
From Route 7, take Brock Ridge (CR1/15) for 4 miles to
the intersection with route 89. Turn right on Route 89
and travel 2 miles to Harland Ridge (CR 1/17). Turn
right on Harland Ridge and travel 0.6 miles, then veer
right and follow 0.7 miles to entrance on the left.
Latitude and longitude coordinates are: 39.66578,
-80.67341
The applicant estimates the potential to discharge the
following Regulated Air Pollutants will be:
Nitrogen Oxides (NOx) 18.62 tons/year
Carbon Monoxide (CO) 28.37 tons/year
Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC) 8.41 tons/year
Sulfur Dioxide (SO2) 0.05 tons/year
Particulate Matter (PM) 0.73 tons/year
Benzene 0.14 tons/year
Ethylbenzene 0.03 tons/year
Formaldehyde 0.99 tons/year
n-Hexane 0.24 tons/year
Toluene 0.30 tons/year
Xylenes 0.18 tons/year
Methane 13.63 tons/year
CO2 Equivalent 17,302 tons/year
Operations are planned to begin on or about May 04,
2026. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection,
Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston,
WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date
of publication of this notice.
