ADVERTISEMENT FOR BID The City of Kingwood is currently accepting sealed bids for the paving of multiple city streets in Kingwood. The project will consist of milling the complete street and surfacing with two inches of compacted wearing asphalt. The proposed project involves 8,254 sq. yds of road surface. The contractor is to provide all necessary materials, labor and equipment. Work must be completed on or before June 5, 2026. Insurance, bonding and city license will be required. For a complete list of the streets to be paved and bid package, interested contractors should contact Kingwood City Hall at 304-329-1225. Sealed bids must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on April 14, 2026, to Kingwood City Hall. Bids may also be mailed in advance, but must be received by 4:00 p.m. by April 14, 2026, to 313 Tunnelton Street, Kingwood, WV 26537. The bids will be opened that evening during the regular council meeting. The City of Kingwood reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
