Notice of Application
Notice is given that Keyrock Energy LLC has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a modification to Permit R13-3492 for a mine gas flaring facility located near Cedar Rd, Crab Orchard, in Raleigh County, West Virginia. The latitude and longitude coordinates for the facility are: 37.737062, -81.216586.
The facility plans to update the permit with the latest manufacturers' specifications. The applicant estimates the potential to increase the following Regulated Air Pollutants to be NOx: 20.7 ton/year; CO: 38.8 ton/year
Startup of operation is planned to begin on or about the 15th day of May 2026. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Written comments will also be received via email at [email protected].
