CITY OF NITRO ACCEPTING SEALED ROOFING BIDS The City of Nitro is accepting sealed bids clearly marked "ROOFING BID" for the following list of roofing & related projects. Please bid projects individually and as a "bundled" discounted price for all projects. Bids are due in hand no later than Friday, April 17, 2026, at 3:00pm and must be good for 30 days (through May 17, 2026). Your bid must include your license and insurance & a brief company history. Manufacturer material warranty must be furnished with a minimum of 20 years. Workmanship warranty must be furnished with a minimum of 10 years. It should look as if you've never been there. A "rot contingency" to allow for replacement of rotten wood upon discovery. All drains unclogged, lowered, repaired etc. to ensure they are properly flowing. All roofs properly slopped to ensure NO excessive standing, puddling or pooling of water. City Hall, 2009 20th Street – replace current built-up-roof (BUR with tar & gravel & replace flashing, edge metals, parapets and roof drains. Total roof replacement. Fire Department, 2009 20th Street – replace waterproof membrane, scuppers, parapet walls, edge metals, flashing & drains. Total roof replacement. CVB Building, 201 21st Street – replace waterproof membrane, scuppers, parapet walls, edge metals, flashing & drains. Total roof replacement. Athletic Complex, 1650 Park Avenue – Repair / replace exhaust hood cap to kitchen ventilation system. Public Works, 151 West 19th Street – Build a new roof over existing salt shed. West Sattes Community Center, 234 Lee Avenue – Lower existing roof drains to appropriate operational level and add additional roof drains (4 + ?) as needed – to be determined upon official building inspection. Replace (6) obsolete Goodman rooftop HVAC units with like units and replace (3) Rheem coils that have hail damage.
