ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The Wyoming County Commission will be receiving bids at the Wyoming County Courthouse, County Clerk's Office, c/o Jewell Aguilar, P.O. Box 309, Pineville, WV 24874, for the Wyoming County Courthouse Annex Facade Restoration Project until 3:00 P.M., L.P.T., April 30, 2026. Bids will be submitted in sealed envelopes, marked "Wyoming County Courthouse Annex Façade Restoration, Sealed Bid". Bids will be opened at 3:00 P.M., L.P.T., April 30, 2026.
The total base bid price for the contract shall include the costs for furnishing labor and materials and performing all work set forth in the Advertisement for Bids, Information for Bidders, Form of Proposal, General Conditions, Supplemental General Conditions, and Plans and Detail Specifications.
The work to be bid upon is described as follows, but not limited to:
Wyoming County Courthouse Annex Façade Restoration, dated April 2026, as prepared by Chapman Technical Group.
Cleaning and restoration of the Courthouse Annex, including repointing and repair of historic masonry, and rebuilding of terra cotta cornice units. Alternates include repair of lower entablature, and repair and repainting of metal and wood features. The project also includes any incidental construction as needed and described in the construction documents. All work will be in accordance with the Secretary of Interior's Standards for the Historic Treatment of Historic Properties.
Contractor must be experienced in historic preservation work.
Construction time limit is 120 calendar days.

Plans and Specifications for the project must be obtained by each Bidder at a cost of $100.00 from the office of Chapman Technical Group, 200 Sixth Avenue, St. Albans, West Virginia 25177, telephone (304) 727-5501. They are also available at the plan room on the website www.chaptech.com.
Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, made payable to the Owner, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base bid, in accordance with the Instruction to bidders.
All prospective Bidders are encouraged to attend a non-mandatory Pre-Bid Conference to be held at the Wyoming County Courthouse, Pineville, WV, on April 23, at 11:00 A.M. L.P.T, for the purpose of discussing the project and touring the project site.
All bidders are required to have a West Virginia Contractor's License at the time of bidding per Section § 21-11-11 of the West Virginia Code. The County reserves the right to reject any and all bids. No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the Bid Opening.
