One section on the right side 20×53 needs to be excavated or milled ten (10) inches full depth area and install six (6) inches of stone with 2.5 inches base and 1.5 inches top priority. House #1509 to #1512, 26×73 mill & pave 16th St at the top, starting at house #1635 at the end of the garage, and flare out to the wall on 3rd Ave, 16×50 mill & pave 19th St at crossing end at 2nd Ave one large section, 10×32 mill & pave 20th from 2nd Ave to the end of the Frontier Building, 38×330 mill two inches, replace two inches wearing – in front of city hall & fire department ADDITIONAL INFO: The cost for sealing cracks with sealer is $1.00 per foot – from 40th St to 20th St and on 2nd Ave from 40th St to 22nd St This bid includes projected paving for the spring and fall of 2026 Bid will include labor, materials, and equipment, 2-inch asphalt unless otherwise noted, milling, and tie-ins Mill complete entire paving areas, not just the tie ends, 2-inch full-depth milling on all areas Haul milled materials off-site Clear the area of loose debris and vegetation Apply tack to any areas with hills or sharp turns only Place and compact 2" of wearing 1" asphalt in prepared areas The streets have been dotted with paint to show the beginning & end of each section Each street will show total cost – we will do half this spring and half in the fall unless Council decides we can do it all at one time. Each entrance will go back 20 feet unless otherwise noted and tie into the existing pavement or concrete Verify the measurement of each section, and all bids will reflect the same Give the cost of each section in the order as listed. The paving committee has the authority to accept or reject any and all bids without providing specific reasons if in the best interests of the City of Nitro.
