PUBLIC NOTICE HAWKS NEST HYDRO VEGETATION MANAGEMENT WORK MAY RESULT IN DELAYS ON US ROUTE 60 NEAR GAULEY BRIDGE, WV Brookfield Renewable N.A., owner and operator of the Hawks Nest Hydro, LLC, is issuing this public notice to advise drivers in the region of potential delays on US Route 60 in the coming weeks due to vegetation management and maintenance activities. US Route 60 Beginning March 30, 2026, Hawks Nest Hydro will carry out vegetation management and maintenance activities near US Route 60. This work is expected to continue for approximately seven weeks. During this period, motorists may experience short delays while heavy equipment and materials are transported to and from the work area. Every effort will be made to minimize impacts to morning and evening commutes, school transportation routes, and other general traffic flow.
