ADVERTISEMENT Notice is hereby given that GOALS COAL COMPANY, PO BOX 309, NAOMA, WV 25140 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 315 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 254 Industrial Drive Oak Hill, WV 25901, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number O001885 to maintain and operate a refuse facility in the NA seam of coal. The operation is discharging into Shumate Creek of Marsh Fork of Big Coal River of Coal River of Kanawha River and is located 2.0 miles, west of Naoma in the Marsh Fork District of Raleigh County, Longitude 81 f 31′ 02″ and Latitude 37 f 52′ 03″ (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
